These restful days can be used to visit the incomparable, recently created nature reserves of Albarca and Es Verger, thus getting to know one of Majorca´s wildest, most beautiful areas, with its wealth of flora and fauna.
Or make a mid-afternoon visit to the Betlem area, when the warm rays of the autumn sun cover the sea and the red slopes of the Artá mountains. It is easy to understand why this ancient area of vineyards is a favourite spot for artists.

Take advantage of mid January's sunny weather to play golf. Known as the time of the 'January Calm', the sunshine makes it seem like spring. You can also go shopping and visit Palma and the rest of the island, enjoying the blossom of the almond trees.
